I've been reading Cross Country, a memoir of, well, cross countrying by Robert Sullivan. Parts of it are a drag, parts of it are fun--which is what makes me keep reading it. Here's the good quote: Sullivan claims Kemmons Wilson, the founder of the Holiday Inn chain, said, "An opportunist is a man who meets the wolf at the door and the next day appears in a fur coat."
